Prologue
TL;DR
I am a regular everyday guy that is going to lose weight and get a new tattoo for each smaller weight goal achieved. The ultimate goal is 230 lbs and to go skydiving! Starting weight is/was 307.9 lbs.

I am married and a father of 4 (NOTE: I couldn’t do this without my wife’s support and as my acting pseudo personal chef!) . I have spent the last several years after getting out of the military trying to get ahead in my swapped career choice into the Information Technology field. This led to making poor decisions for my diet and swapping the gym for a laptop. At least these are the excuses I tell myself to feel better about the extreme weight gain I have gone through (now for the 2nd time).
